I've never been a regular laundromat user before, so I only recently learned that the laundromat will wash your clothes for you, if you pay them. $0.75/pound, ten-pound minimum. When your clothes are all clean, they fold them for you, put them in your bag, and stack them on top of the big washing machines in the back.
They're kind of pretty, aren't they?
My holiday was pretty quiet and that's not always a bad thing. I never did make it out to pick up a turkey so I skipped cooking and pretty much just fasted all day. There's something a little uplifting about that actually. I'm weird.
Anyway, I mostly worked and did routine things like watch football and do laundry.
I did get a couple of calls from friends and family and that was nice. Overall, it wasn't a bad holiday - just quiet.
